This is the Terms of Use that must be agreed upon in order to establish an account.

Terms of Use

Use of the MFRA Web Recruitment Service

This site is used to advertise current vacancies for operational, control and support staff within Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority. 

Registration

In order to apply for a vacancy using the MFRA web recruitment site, you are required to register your details and agree to our applicants declaration.  Registered users of the system may create, maintain and submit applications for specific vacancies at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority.

Passwords and Security

Passwords should be kept in a secure environment and not shared.  Any suspected breaches of security should be reported immediately to recruitment@merseyfire.gov.uk.

Communication

You must provide a valid personal email address when you register with MFRA.  If you supply an incorrect email address then you will not receive messages sent by MFRA in connection with your account, nor will you receive messages sent in relation to an application. 

We do not guarantee reliability of email and you should check the status of any application on the MFRA web recruitment site.

Your job application and any other material you enter into the web recruitment site must not include any material that is false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, offensive, abusive, likely to cause someone anxiety or distress, encourages violence or racial or religious hatred, blasphemous, pornographic, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy, unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

Availability of the Service

We reserve the right to modify, edit, delete and suspend temporarily or permanently the web recruitment service at any time.

We are not responsible if you experience difficulty accessing the web recruitment site because of any event outside our control (e.g. the performance of your or our internet service provider, your browser or the internet.)
