COMMUNITY SAFETY ADVISOR - APPRENTICESHIP VACANCIES
PREVENTION TEAM, COMMUNITY RISK MANAGEMENT
APPRENTICESHIP SALARY: £147 PER WEEK
35 HOURS PER WEEK
12 MONTH APPRENTICESHIP
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service are now recruiting for our next cohort of Community Safety Advisor Apprentices.
This intermediate level apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity for people to join the Community Risk Management team and gain valuable experience within the workplace, achieve a recognised qualification and earn a wage whilst doing so.
Our Community Safety Advisors works within the local community providing life-improving advice, guidance and interventions that support people to remain safe. They work alongside Community Safety teams to carry out practical community safety activities to reduce risk such as:
Safety in the home by fitting smoke alarms and other equipment in the homes of vulnerable people, for example people who may have difficulty hearing / seeing
Arson reduction to individuals who have been fire setting or are at risk of fire setting
Road safety
The team have offices within 4 districts of Merseyside including Liverpool, Wirral, Knowsley and Sefton. Successful candidates will be placed at their nearest district office were possible.
