Salary Grade 8 £12,856 - £13,707 per annum
Fixed term contract until 3rd June 2020
Part time working 17 hours per week. To be worked over 2 to 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Some work outside of these hours may be required e.g. Diversity celebration days, Induction events and attending staff development.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Diversity Team for an enthusiastic and motivated Equality and Diversity Advisor.
The post holder will support the Diversity and Consultation Manager with implementing and embedding Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authorities Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) strategies, policies and objectives (available on http://www.merseyfire.gov.uk/aspx/pages/equality/equalityDiversity.aspx.
Responsible for delivering ED&I projects, training and facilitation with staff to help the organisation meet its Equality and Diversity legislative duties.
The post holder will report directly to the Diversity and Consultation Manager and will also provide a comprehensive service to internal and external stakeholders around ED&I advice, guidance and training facilitation to all groups of Uniformed and Support staff.
