Do you have experience of systems support? Would you like a job that allows you to use the skills you have developed to contribute to the safety and wellbeing of people in Merseyside?
Would you like to work a 35 hour week on a flexible working system with access to a free on-site gym, free parking and a canteen? This Systems Support Officer post, is based at our Headquarters in Aintree, which is within easy access of the M57 and M58 motorways and the Merseyrail network.
The successful candidate will provide systems support for a number of key corporate management information systems, including a SharePoint Intranet Portal, MapInfo Geographical Information System and other fire and rescue service applications that help make a real difference to the safety of people in Merseyside.. Although previous experience of supporting applications is required, that experience does not have to be in relation to these specific applications, as on the job training will be provided.
The successful candidate will help the Corporate Information & Systems Manager improve business processes, including data collection, data validation/ and verification and overall process automation.
The Systems Support Office role offers opportunities for the successful candidate to have a positive impact on the running of corporate applications across Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, while increasing their own professional development and furthering their career as part of well respected and forward thinking team.

Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term contract for 24 months
Salary: Grade 7 (£24, 313 - £26, 317 per annum)
