Information Management Officer
Information Governance Team
Strategy and Performance Directorate
Permanent contract
35 hours per week
Salary grade 6 £21,589 - £23,836 per annum
Location: Service Headquarters, Bootle
The Information Management Officer prepares and implements procedures, guidance and protocols that will fulfil the legal aspects of information governance and security. In particular the Data Protection Act 2018, General Data Protection Regulation, Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations 2004, Public Sector Re-use of Information, information sharing and records management.
He / she will work with the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) and Data ProtectionOfficer (DPO) to put into place administrative procedures that will help ensure compliance with information governance and security legislation and best practice.
