PROCUREMENT APPRENTICE

CONTRACT:  2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
SALARY:  £18,304 (Year 1) - £19,830 (Year 2)
HOURS:  35 hours Per Week

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service are pleased to offer an exciting apprenticeship opportunity within Procurement.  The Procurement Apprentice will assist the team with undertaking Procurement activities, including systems’ operation, expenditure analysis, drafting contracts and supplier management amongst other procurement related processes.

This 2 year apprenticeship will involve the completion of a Level 4 Standard in Procurement and Supply.  This will be supported by the attainment of a Level 4 Diploma qualification with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

Eligibility:
Candidates should have GCSE grade C or above (4-9) in Maths and English (or equivalent). 

This post may suit individuals who have previously had some experience in a procurement setting.

The selection process will consist of an application form and interview.  When completing the application form please pay particular attention to the Supporting Evidence section and provide evidence as to how you demonstrate the skills required for the role (as set out in the Apprenticeship Description document).  Dates for these stages are provided below.
