Temporary Courier

[Fixed Term Contract for 12 months, two positions]

Salary £10,195 per annum

Hours:  20 hours per week

We are looking to recruit two temporary Couriers to assist in the collection and delivery of equipment and other resources across all our locations within Merseyside.

The collection and delivery of mail on a daily basis is also a requirement, as well as ensuring any vehicle used is kept clean, tidy and roadworthy and reporting any vehicle faults to the Engineering Centre.

Candidates should have a good geographical knowledge of the Merseyside region and a good awareness of manual handling techniques and basic health and safety in the workplace.

The successful candidates will have strong customer services skills, excellent time management and organisational skills, together with the ability to meet all agreed timescales.

These posts are required to cover evening and weekend working, on a shift rota basis. Details of the hours to be worked are specified in the job profile.

Please note due to the operational requirements of the role, there is an expectation that the post-holder will work flexibly to meet these requirements.
