SECONDMENT
OPPORTUNITY WITHIN THE NATIONAL RESILIENCE DIM CAPABILITY
As the lead authority for
National Resilience, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are looking to appoint
to these two posts, on a secondment basis.
This is a re-advertisement
and previous applicants need not apply
Station
Manager B plus 20% flexibility allowance - Detection, Identification and Monitoring (DIM) – 2 posts, for a
period of 12-18 months
Please note due to the nature of these two roles, they
will only be suitable to trained, experienced DIM Advisors, familiar with the
current suite of equipment and procedures.
Some of the key attributes we are looking for are; -

To
be well organised, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and under their
own initiative.
·
To
be able to produce high quality work and reports, in a variety of formats,
utilising the standard suite of MS Office products (including Teams).

To
be capable of liaising with partner organisations and across the wider FRS
sector.
Please note: To support this NR operational function,
there will be a requirement to undertake periods providing on-call cover for
CBRN(e) advice and potentially be deployed to national incidents. This on-call
arrangement is currently one week every third week
