Status: Permanent
We are looking
to recruit a Kitchen Porter to work at our Training and Development Academy.
This is a
permanent position and the successful candidate will be responsible for the
cleaning and hygiene within the kitchen and restaurant area. This will include,
washing up and cleaning the kitchen and surrounding areas. Other responsibilities
include; setting up and maintaining the cleanliness of the tables and equipment
and ensuring that food and beverages stocks are maintained to the correct
levels.
Applicants must
possess a food hygiene certificate or equivalent and have experience of working
in a large scale catering operation. In addition, good customer services
skills, working to deadlines and be able to be organised and work unsupervised
are essential requirements.
The working
week covers Monday to Friday, although there is an expectation of a flexible
approach to work in order to meet the needs of the service and on occasion be
able to work at the Headquarters in Bridle Road, Bootle, Merseyside.
