Do you have experience in developing software applications and have skills in one or more of: ASP.Net MVC/Web API or .Net Core Framework, C#, Bootstrap and the latest JavaScript frameworks? Would you like a job that allows you to use these skills to contribute to the safety of UK citizens?
Would you like to work a 35 hour week on a flexible working system with access to a free on-site gym, free parking and a canteen? This Application Developer post, is based at our Headquarters in Aintree, which is within easy access of the M57 and M58 motorways and the Merseyrail network.
The successful candidate will join the development team to deliver innovative enterprise applications using tools such as Microsoft Surface Book, Visual Studio Enterprise 2017 (MSDN), Resharper and Microsoft Azure. The National Resilience application is used by all UK Fire & Rescue Services to facilitate the strategic management and overview of nationally held resilience assets. It provides a managed information mechanism which allows key decision making to be based on accurate incident information during major national incidents.
The Application Developer role offers opportunities for the successful candidate to have a positive impact on the running of UK Fire & Rescue National Resilience, while increasing their own professional development with a subscription to Pluralsight; and furthering their career as part of well-respected and forward thinking team.
