Training & Development Academy
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service (MFRS)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: 6 month Fixed Term contract
Salary: Grade 3 £18, 065 - £18, 426 per annum
MFRS's busy Training & Development Academy are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Support Staff member to come and join their team. The postholder will assist the Academy Trainers with the physical preparation of all training scenarios to assist our Firefighters in being able to be the best they can be. This is a busy and varied role where you could be asked to set up a road traffic collision scenario in the morning and be checking equipment ready for Breathing Apparatus training in the afternoon.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of maintaining buildings or premises and have a good understanding of manual handling techniques.
