Salary: Grade 6 £21, 589 - £23, 836 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

The Recruitment & Development Team at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service are responsible for attracting talented individuals into the organisation and for supporting them in their development throughout their careers. 

The Professional Development Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting employee development activities across the Service.  The duties of the role are varied and include creating systems and procedures to support development processes; act as Centre Manager for all Assessment Centres; provide support to staff undertaking Institute of Fire Engineer Examinations; and assist with the evaluation and recording of staff appraisals.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a busy team environment; enjoy working across a number of different activities and is comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.
