Salary: Grade 4 £18, 795 - £19, 171 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
The Recruitment & Development Team at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service are responsible for attracting talented individuals into the organisation and for supporting them in their development throughout their careers.
The Recruitment Advisor will play an important role in supporting all recruitment across the organisation including high volume campaigns such as Firefighter and Fire Control recruitment as well as other roles as and when they become available. The Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for all recruitment administration including the maintenance of the web recruitment system (ResourceLink); interview and assessment documents and job offer documentation. In addition, they will take an active role in selection processes themselves by sitting on interview panels and / or facilitating assessments and will attend events to promote Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service careers across the region.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about recruitment and are really passionate about delivering a quality experience to both our hiring managers and candidates. They should have excellent attention to detail with a real 'can do' attitude. This role would suit someone who is always looking to go the extra mile and improve on what the team deliver. The successful candidate should have a flexible approach as there may be some evening and weekend work involved.
