Contract Manager (National Resilience LTCM)
 
Salary: £36, 371 - £39, 571 per annum (G12)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Service HQ, Bridle Road, Bootle
Contract type: Permanent
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Manger to join Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service’s (MFRS) Procurement team on a permanent contract to work on National Resilience contracts (the UK Government’s Fire and Rescue response to major incidents.)  
 
Primarily, the Contract Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the Long Term Capability Management (LTCM) contract with the Prime Contractor.  Being the Lead Authority, the position requires the Contract Manager to work closely with the Contractor and includes attending meetings at Contractor’s premises nationally.  The role will include the effective monitoring of the contract; undertaking periodic audits; and managing escalation of queries.
